This pick has been doing very well in Deity EU ranked. Zeus base damage is high enough to ignore int items and simply spam CDs with some tankier options. Pumps out a ton of damage, CC and suprisingly hard to lockdown with the low CD on the 2.
You buy gem to help you with the first few minutes of the game mainly. Leave that for later and instantly build into whichever CD item you need for your lane opponent.
I'm not fully sold on this item yet, but it could definitely be an option to start the game and fix some potential mana sustain issues. If you make this swap, rush Alchemist.
A alternative prot item that also gives you some damage. Glads can add up with how many abilities you spam in fights.
Draconic always has a place in any tank build. Consider this if you want a slightly more selfish build or more HP from your tank items.
