People underestimate Barbed Carver, especially on a character like Susano. You want to build barbed carver on Gods who have 3 damaging abilities (excluding ult). Most of my damage comes from barbed carver proc, and lifesteal saves lives in critical moments. Hydras is cheap, is essential for auto cancelling with the 1, also gives mana, and early CDRs because you're not getting more CDR until much later. I feel that gods are better when they have one shot potential rather than CDR.
both items are very interchangable. Jotunn's give overall CDs. Pendulum gives CD in critical / single fight moments that might turn the game late game + gives CD for your ult
go Aegis or Magi's depending on how much cc the enemy team has
if you are ahead and feel like you cannot engage without a blink, I would swap out Pendulum for combat blink
